Thankfulness, Day 29 of 30

I cannot believe that this month is almost done! Today was a beautiful day, I could live where it was 70 degrees year-round.

Tonight I was able to celebrate the joy of Christmas with my best friends. As we sat around the piano, we sang Christmas carols!

I am so blessed to live in a nation where I am able to worship freely, even in the aspect of celebrating Christmas. The Christmas season is not about gift giving or singing carols or hot chocolate or extravagant lights. It is about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Way, the Truth and the Life.

Thankfulness, Day 8 of 30

Today I am thankful for friendships that never end. You know those long distance ones that have short pauses, but they continue playing as though it never stopped? My best friend and I have a relationship like that, and it is such a blessing from God. Living 1066 miles apart, we can see each other instantly through Skype dates. (Love it!) She has challenged my faith, helped mature my faith and has been there through everything. But the best part is that I know that she will always be there for me, and I will always be there for her. So today I am blessed and thankful for 1066 miles feeling not so far away.

(Thanks for letting me sneak a picture of our skype date!)

Thanksgiving, Day 7 of 30

Today I am incredibly thankful for churches here in Stillwater that preach by the Truth. I am thankful that I am able to attend an in-depth Bible Study over Theology. I am thankful for my best friend and new friends that I have made simply by attending. I am grateful for the way that it has stretched and challenged the way that I think and strengthened my foundation. I am grateful for God’s provision and protection on my life, and I am grateful for His plan that He is revealing to me as I grow and learn. I am thankful that as I grow God sheds His grace on me in abundance, not that I might keep it for myself but that I might share it with others. I am grateful that God has given me a passion and desire to share His name. I am thankful for opportunities to be intentional, and grateful for God’s second chance when I disobey.

To God be the glory, forever! Amen! :)
